LICENSED THERAPISTS-NJ LICENSED

We currently have opportunities for Independent Contractors as In-Home Clinicians providing services for IIC Youth and Families. Must have a LAC, LSW, LPC or LCSW. Must have one-year experience working with youth and individuals with Mental Illness and Behavioral issues.  Must have clean and valid driver’s license and professional liability insurance. Must pass criminal background check and TB testing.

Responsibilities

Provide Individual and Family therapy, play therapy and psych-education

Assist Youth and Family enhance their coping and social skills, improve their ability to communicate and manage anger

Reduce high risk behaviors and develop crisis plans

Work with youth and family members to improve decision making skills and make lasting behavioral changes

Participate in Child Family Treatment Team Meetings to discuss overall progress and continue to plan with the family.

 

BEHAVIORAL ASSISTANTS (BA)

Behavioral Assistant (BA) provides services that focus on behavioral modification, coping skills, and modeling appropriate behaviors. Behavioral Assistants are specially trained to work with children and adolescents on decreasing undesired behaviors and developing new positive behavior patterns through specific interventions. BA's also work to teach parents and guardians skills to help maintain their child's progress.

Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (psychology, social work or education.)

Must obtain BA certification within 6 months of active consulting.  Must be re-certified annually.

Must have clean and valid driver’s license

Must pass criminal background check and TB testing
